NEAT Magazine

Midwestern Lit: Served neat and down-to-earth.

NEAT was an online, quarterly, literary magazine I started with a co-editor and worked on from June 2013 to December 2016. NEAT Mag’s audience is midwestern writers, predominantly between the ages of 18-35.

Here’s my piece of the pie:

  • Produced most of the cover photos.
  • Designed the website and a majority of the promotional flyers.
  • Wrote half of the marketing blog posts for the website.
  • With my partner, promoted the issues, sent out the calls for submissions, and contacted the contributors after evaluating their work.
